Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tui Ti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Green told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tui Ti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mac Green!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ti avoids the head kick by Green.
Green blocks a jab.
Nice defenses there by Green.
Good leg kick by Green there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Green takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Mac Green has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Ti there.
Green defending well as Ti loads up on a big left hand.
Ti misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ti lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Green counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ti's knee momentarily.
Green takes one to the side of the head.
Green is rocked!
Green tries to clinch but Ti is having none of it.
A telegraphed right hand from Ti misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Green ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tui Ti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Green gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ti.
Green is still on wobbly legs! Can Ti finish him?

Green seems to have recovered his senses.
Ti throws a lazy uppercut
and Green counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ti's knee momentarily.
Ti misses with a looping left.
Green is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ti.
Ti thuds his right hand into Green's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Green keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ti.
Green walks straight into a right hand from Ti - that's dropped him! Ti jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Green from any more punishment! Green complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tui Ti!
