The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Le throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Petersen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Le is in Petersen's guard.
Le postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Le stops Petersen from standing up.
Le content to stall in guard here.
Petersen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Petersen is looking to stand up but Le isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Le throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le trying to control the position from guard on top but Petersen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Le is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Petersen is looking to stand up but Le isn't so interested in that idea.

Petersen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Le is controlling him.

Le loads up on a big left hand. Petersen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Le looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Petersen can't hide his disappointment, as Le celebrates the victory.
