Murchison throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Luikku swings for the body but Murchison moves out of range.
Luikku jabs at Murchison's body.
Luikku moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Murchison walks into a jab.
Luikku misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murchison.
Luikku throws a shot to the body.
Luikku really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Murchison throws a right and a left that Luikku avoids nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Murchison has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Murchison takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luikku sends Murchison crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Luikku is motioning to the referee to let Murchison up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
A slow jab from Murchison misses its intended target.
Luikku throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Murchison looks winded!
Luikku steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Murchison is out on his feet! Luikku sets himself and nearly takes Murchison's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
