The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korrales displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gumball throws out the jab.
Gumball dodges the punch combination from Korrales.
Gumball misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Korrales checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gumball ducks under a wild hook from Korrales.
Gumball throws a jab but it's blocked by Korrales.
Korrales scores with a sloppy right hand. Gumball should have avoided that one.

and Korrales cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Larry Gumball has been cut.
Gumball uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Korrales.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gumball. Korrales does a little dance to reset his feet.
Korrales throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gumball counters with a nice leg kick.
Korrales tries to work over Gumball's front leg with a kick but Gumball checks it.

Korrales sends Gumball crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Korrales is motioning to the referee to let Gumball up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kermit Korrales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Korrales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Korrales cracks Gumball with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gumball looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Korrales finish him?
