Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Overdose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Downstait - This Is My Life. The crowd seem to be enjoying Overdose's choice of entrance music: Powerthirst. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
48 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistair Overdose!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Overdose finds it's way round the side to connect with Martin's head.
Martin fails with the takedown
and Overdose counters with a right hand to the body.
A low kick from Overdose misses
and Martin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Martin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Martin looks for a takedown but Overdose sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt
and Overdose counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Martin thinking.
Martin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Overdose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Overdose counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Overdose is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Overdose is trying to get back to full guard.

Martin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
We've been hearing that Martin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Overdose won't allow Martin to pass to mount.
Martin is working for a kimura but Overdose is defending it quite comfortably.
Martin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Martin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Overdose defend it? Martin steps over the head and cranks it - Overdose is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Martin!
