The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan lunges at Belmont with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Belmont's hand.
Chan misses with a hook.
Chan throws a big shot that misses.
Belmont checks a leg kick nicely.
Chan throws a series of punches but Belmont avoids them all with ease.
Belmont lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Belmont checks it well.
Chan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Belmont misses with an uppercut.
Chan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belmont connects with a right hand. Chan shakes it off.
Chan takes one to the chin there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Belmont has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Belmont and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Chan circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Belmont to the canvas! Belmont doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Chan keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
