Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armos Saffedine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Saffedine counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duncan is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown. Saffedine tries to sprawl out of it but Duncan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saffedine manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Duncan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saffedine circles away quickly and effectively.

and Saffedine counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Duncan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Saffedine as he avoids it easily.
Duncan tries to clinch but Saffedine moves out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown but Saffedine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duncan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Saffedine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Saffedine manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Duncan on his heels. He'll look to pass Duncan's guard now, I'm sure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saffedine is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Duncan is trying to escape and Saffedine transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Duncan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Saffedine! Very nice indeed!
