Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Invictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Invictus has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. Lance Invictus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lance Invictus!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Invictus misses.

Coleman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Coleman is trying to control. Invictus wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Invictus keeps working.

Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Invictus is looking to control Coleman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Invictus avoid being mounted?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Coleman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Invictus swivels and escapes.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Invictus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Invictus takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses.

Invictus can't keep his opponent in guard - Coleman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Coleman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Coleman is keen to just control but Invictus is a slippery customer.

Coleman seems to be working for a kimura but Invictus defends the submission attempt.

Coleman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Invictus has managed to free his arm - good work.
Coleman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Coleman is looking to advance position but Invictus won't allow it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Coleman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Invictus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coleman.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Coleman dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Invictus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Invictus is breathing heavily.

Coleman is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Invictus has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Coleman throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Invictus!
Invictus staying busy and making it hard for Coleman to control.
Coleman has the hooks in. Invictus is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Invictus covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Invictus is trapped and Coleman is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Coleman scores with punches to the body.
Coleman is landing with strikes from the back.


Invictus is rocked!

Coleman lands a series of strikes from the back and Invictus goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Coleman!
