Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Potatos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potatos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sharp throws out the jab.
Sharp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sharp misses with a hook. Potatos ducked under it nicely.
Potatos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sharp looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sharp connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sharp walks into a left hand.
Sharp lands a leg kick that knocks Potatos off balance momentarily.
Sharp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sharp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Potatos wants to slow Sharp down by chopping away at his legs.

Potatos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sharp's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Potatos landing some decent shots from guard.
Potatos trying to control but Sharp is working from the bottom.

Potatos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sharp's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Potatos stands up from Sharp's guard - Potatos perhaps looking for a knockout.
Potatos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sharp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sharp checks a low kick from Potatos.
A jab from Sharp misses.
Potatos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sharp throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sharp swings widly with a right hand
and Potatos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Potatos thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sharp scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Potatos doesn't seem bothered though.
Sharp misses with a looping right.
Potatos loads up on a big right hand but Sharp slips the punch.
Victor Sharp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sharp.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sharp misses with an uppercut. Potatos saw that one coming.
A slow jab from Sharp misses its intended target.
Sharp works Potatos's body with a nice hook.
Sharp throws a leg kick
enabling Potatos to counter with a crisp jab.
Sharp scores with a push kick.
Potatos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sharp lands a jab to Potatos's midsection.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sharp, as that shot connected.
Sharp misses with a straight right.
Sharp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Potatos manages to avoid it.
Sharp misses with an uppercut.
Sharp lands with an overhand left.
Sharp takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sharp blocks a leg kick.
Sharp throws the left hand but Potatos avoids the punch easily.
Sharp misses with a leg kick
and Potatos counters with a nice body shot.
Sharp throws a right hand that misses
and Potatos counters with a nice uppercut.
Potatos defending well as Sharp loads up on a big left hand.
Sharp throws a right hand that misses
and Potatos counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sharp throws a right hand that misses
enabling Potatos to counter with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Potatos throws a good cross that connects.


Sharp is rocked!
Potatos throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Sharp crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jack Potatos!
Jack Potatos seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
