Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayle Amot Abdalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackjan Tio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rayle Amot Abdalla has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rayle Amot Abdalla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackjan Tio!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tio on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Abdalla. Abdalla obviously looking to wear him down.
Abdalla throws a leg kick but Tio checks it.
Tio moves into range and clinches up with Abdalla.
Tio doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tio is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Tio wants to take a breather but Abdalla is having none of it.

Tio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abdalla swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Tio shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tio showed some decent athleticism there.

Tio wants to pass to mount but Abdalla is defending the position.

Tio takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Abdalla turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tio blocks a low kick nicely.
Tio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Abdalla paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tio has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Abdalla.

Abdalla throws a hook but Tio blocks it.
Abdalla connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Abdalla gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tio is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jackjan Tio will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Abdalla throws a solid leg kick but Tio takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Abdalla.

Abdalla might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tio is continuing to stall.
Tio has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Abdalla is staying active underneath Tio, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tio is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Abdalla doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tio.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tio shoots in and gets a takedown into Abdalla's guard.
Abdalla is trying to keep Tio in close.
Tio wants to pass the guard but Abdalla is keeping the position.

Jackjan Tio has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tio is looking to work some ground and pound but Abdalla has wrist control.

Tio throws a right hand that Abdalla ducks under and follows up with a left that Abdalla also avoids with ease.
That kick from Abdalla tenderised Tio's leg. Tio is trying to keep his angry face on.

Abdalla tries to score with a low kick but Tio moves his leg out of the way.
Tio takes the fight into the clinch.

A head kick misses from Tio.
Tio avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Abdalla finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Abdalla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tio as he avoids it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Tio not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jackjan Tio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Some wild striking there from Tio.
Abdalla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tio has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Abdalla finds it's way round the side to connect with Tio's head.
It looks like Jackjan Tio has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Abdalla. Beautiful body shot.
Tio tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Abdalla manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
