Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hans Tuckich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuya Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tetsuya Tate will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Tuckich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tetsuya Tate!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tate forces Tuckich back against the cage and clinches.
Tuckich stalling the fight.
Tate can't find room to land a body shot as Tuckich controls the action.
Tuckich throws a punch but it's blocked by Tate.
Tate doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tate has a couple of punches blocked by Tuckich.
Tuckich misses with the head strike.
Tuckich throws a head punch that misses.
Tate can't get the takedown.
Tuckich prevents the takedown attempt.
Tate has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tuckich avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tate closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Tate seems to be working for a kimura but Tuckich defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tate takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Hans Tuckich will probably get the nod.
That's time! Tuckich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Tate changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuckich tries to avoid it but Tate manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuckich to the ground. Tuckich escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tate holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tate might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tuckich haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tate tries to clinch there but Tuckich circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tuckich connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tate. Tate circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tetsuya Tate has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A lazy left from Tuckich finds it's target.

I would just about give that final round to Tetsuya Tate.
I think Tuckich has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
