The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bunting ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crowe moves away.
Crowe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Crowe lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like John Bunting has been cut.
Crowe throws a push kick but Bunting slaps the foot to one side.
Bunting swings for the body but Crowe moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Crowe. Bunting shrugs it off though.
Crowe connects with the punch.
Crowe looks to land a left hand but Bunting moved out of range nicely.

Bunting shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crowe defends it nicely.
We've been hearing reports that Crowe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Bunting throws a chopping leg kick but Crowe manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Crowe misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bunting counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Crowe scores with a punch to the head.

Crowe connects with a solid leg kick.
Bunting tried to score with a low kick but Crowe checks it.
Crowe throws a body punch but Bunting moves out of range.
Crowe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bunting keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bunting checks a leg kick.
Bunting looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crowe is fending him off so far but Bunting persists. Nope, Crowe circles away and we're back to standing.
Bunting jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Crowe is looking to wear down Bunting with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Crowe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bunting misses with a kick to the body.

Crowe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bunting!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crowe tries to advance to mount but Bunting denies him.

Crowe has control of an arm but Bunting manages to advance to Crowe's back!

Crowe turns into Bunting and is now in his guard.
Bunting wants to sweep here but Crowe controlling him for the moment.

Bunting working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crowe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crowe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bunting isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crowe stacks Bunting on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crowe!
Crowe scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bunting to see if he's OK.
Crowe looks up at the clock and then as Bunting takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Crowe smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bunting is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Crowe off and has taken his back!

Even with his hooks in, Bunting manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Stanton Crowe's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Crowe looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Bunting is punishing Crowe with strikes - can he finish him?!

Jeez, Stanton Crowe's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stanton Crowe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Bunting!
A relieved looking John Bunting thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Stanton Crowe was interviewed post fight and said 'Fucker done poked me in mah eye!'.
