The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maples digs a good body shot into Sarabjit's ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sarabjit.
Maples slaps away a takedown attempt from Sarabjit, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Maples. That snapped Sarabjit's head back.
Maples slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Rcrs Sarabjit has been cut.

and Maples counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sarabjit!
Sarabjit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maples will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Maples staying calm.
Maples scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sarabjit is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Maples can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
