Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Carter!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter looking to score a takedown here. Anderson is defending well but Carter drives through and ends up in Anderson's guard.
Carter wants to get up but he can't break Anderson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Carter throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Carter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Anderson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Anderson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Carter closes the distance and pushes Anderson back into the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Anderson wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.

Carter jumps guard and drags Anderson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Carter is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.

Carter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anderson defends it easily.
Carter is breathing heavily.

Anderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

and Anderson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Scott Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter misses with a straight right.
Anderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter.
Carter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Carter is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Anderson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Carter goes for a takedown attempt but Anderson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Anderson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Carter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Anderson after a bit of a struggle.
Carter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Carter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anderson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Carter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Carter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Carter keeps control of Anderson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Carter has Anderson pressed against the cage, preventing Anderson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Anderson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carter jumps guard but Anderson stands there with Carter around his waist. Carter gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Anderson dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Carter throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.
Carter throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Carter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carter can do to turn this around?

Anderson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carter up against the cage.

Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson is taking a breather. Carter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Anderson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Carter tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Anderson!
