The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman connects with an inside leg kick.
Avenge shoots in looking for a takedown. Zimmerman tries to sprawl out of it but Avenge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zimmerman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Avenge has a takedown stuffed.

and Zimmerman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hank Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Avengers Avenge.
Zimmerman tries to clinch
and Avenge counters with a takedown into side control.
Avenge is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zimmerman looks calm but he's in trouble here. Avenge gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zimmerman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Avenge lets go of the hold and Zimmerman can pop his arm back in it's socket.
