Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothchild misses with an uppercut. Gilas saw that one coming.
Rothchild tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gilas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rothchild missing with a left hand there. Gilas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It looks like Ryan Rothchild has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gilas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Rothchild tries to bum rush Gilas with a series of wild strikes but Gilas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rothchild changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rothchild. Gilas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rothchild tries to land a front kick but Gilas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gilas looks low and kicks high, catching Rothchild right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Gilas's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gilas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rothchild throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rothchild fails to land with a series of punches.
Gilas delivers a nice body kick.

Rothchild throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gilas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rothchild.

Rothchild checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Gilas lands a head kick that bluckles Rothchild and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Gilas no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Rothchild fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gilas manages to avoid it.

Rothchild lands with an overhand left.
Rothchild looks to land a right hand but Gilas moved out of range.
Rothchild swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gilas lands a head kick that sends Rothchild down! Rothchild is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Gilas is victorious!
