The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Rose in a clinch.
Rose could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Rose trying to control but Jones flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Despite being in a bad position, Rose is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.

Jones stalks Rose and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rose's face. Rose staggers backwards, shaken.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rose to the mat! Rose manages to get full guard.
