Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Winfred Simmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wintana Lone Dog!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons wants to clinch up but Lone Dog keeps it at a distance.
Lone Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Simmons paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lone Dog throws a right hand that Simmons ducks under and follows up with a left that Simmons also avoids with ease.
Simmons closes the distance and clinches.
Lone Dog jumps guard and drags Simmons to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lone Dog lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Simmons decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lone Dog, up you get!
Simmons tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lone Dog counters with a stiff right hand.
Lone Dog throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lone Dog will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A head kick misses from Lone Dog.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simmons doesn't manage to clinch there - Lone Dog circles away.
Lone Dog throws a head kick but Simmons moves out of range.
Simmons showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lone Dog.
Lone Dog closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Simmons did well to prevent Lone Dog getting side control.

Simmons tries to get to full guard but Lone Dog has control of the leg.
Lone Dog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simmons. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Simmons slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simmons pushes a forearm under Lone Dog's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lone Dog is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
