Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gregor MCconnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Teach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregor MCconnor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Edward Teach!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teach doesn't succeed with the takedown
and MCconnor counters with a stiff right hand.
Teach has his takedown stuffed
and MCconnor counters with a left to the body.

MCconnor drives through with a takedown into guard.
Teach pulls MCconnor in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MCconnor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MCconnor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

MCconnor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Teach looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

MCconnor drops back looking for a leg! Teach is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Teach manages to kick MCconnor off! MCconnor jumps back into Teach's guard.

MCconnor has gone for a leg lock! Teach slips out almost immediately though and dives into MCconnor's guard.

Teach throws a big right hand that misses.

Teach stops MCconnor from standing up.
Teach trying to control but MCconnor is working from the bottom.
Teach pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. MCconnor is keeping the position for now.
Teach trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Teach got a little sloppy there for a moment and MCconnor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Teach has managed to get both his arms back between MCconnor's legs - danger averted.

MCconnor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Teach gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Teach closes the distance and clinches up with MCconnor, looking for a takedown. Teach pushes MCconnor against the cage but MCconnor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Teach closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
