Carroll comes into the arena with Horse Outside blaring out of the sound system. Andy Carroll could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alexandre Riberio's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Carroll throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carroll fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Riberio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Carroll sizes up Riberio with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Carroll scores with the left hand. Riberio knows he should have avoided that one.
Nice defenses there by Riberio.
Riberio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carroll paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carroll thows a left - swing and a miss!

Carroll swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Carroll throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Riberio crashing down! Riberio tries to stagger back to his feet but Carroll just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Riberio asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Carroll!
Andy Carroll decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
