Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caio Terra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg has chosen Don't Borg Out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terra stalks Borg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Borg's face. Borg staggers backwards, shaken.
Terra falls off balance throwing a combination
and Terra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Borg checks the leg kick nicely there.
Borg looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Borg is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Terra moves out of range as Borg strikes.
Terra throws a right hand that misses
letting Borg counter with a right hand.

and Borg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Terra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Terra scores with the left hand. Borg knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Borg counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Borg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A punch lands to the side of Terra 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Caio Terra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Borg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Borg moves out of range of the leg kick from Terra.
Terra closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Borg quickly recovers to half guard.
Terra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Borg is just riding it out for now. Terra eventually gives up the hold.

Terra thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Borg's head.
Terra is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Borg pulls Terra in close to prevent any damage.
Borg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've been hearing good reports from Terra's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Terra is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Borg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Borg has escaped and now he's on top!

Terra had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Borg defends it easily.

Borg throws out a counter right but Terra avoids it with no problem.
Borg lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Terra is looking to take this one to the mat.

Borg is pressed up against the cage. Terra has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Borg down to the mat. Borg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Terra takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Borg punishes Terra's body with a nice straight punch.
Borg slips under a jab.

Borg pushes off an throws an elbow but Terra leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Borg is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Borg stands up from Terra's guard - Borg perhaps looking for a knockout.
Terra swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Borg counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Terra thinking.

Terra throws a series of punches but Borg avoids them all with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Junior Borg will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Terra drives through and clinches with Borg against the cage.

Terra takes a knee to the side of the body.
Borg tries a knee to the head but Terra blocks it.
Terra is working for takedown but Borg is calmly controlling the position for now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terra throws a lazy right hand but Borg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Borg checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Borg is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Terra with a body shot.
Terra throws a combination that misses
and Borg counters with an inside leg kick.
Borg stuns Terra with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Borg dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Borg misses with an uppercut. Terra saw that one coming.
Terra sizes up Borg with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Borg scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Borg counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Borg has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Borg pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Terra back to the cage. Borg follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Caio Terra has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Borg closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Terra out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

An out of breath Junior Borg thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
