Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ode Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Piper might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Green Hills of Tyrol. Roddy Piper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jokinen dives in for a single leg takedown but Piper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Piper throws a shot from downtown. Jokinen moves away and avoids it.

Piper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jokinen pinned against the cage. Jokinen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Piper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Piper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jokinen to the mat! Jokinen manages to get full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jokinen has his foot on Piper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Piper works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roddy Piper will probably get the nod.

That's time! Piper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Piper lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Piper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jokinen - the referee stops the clock and Piper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jokinen. Piper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roddy Piper.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Piper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
