The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lannister checks a low kick from Lamb.
Lamb misses the jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lannister. Lamb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lamb throws a front kick aimed at Lannister's knee but Lannister avoids it well.
Lannister lands a jab-cross combination.
Lannister blocks the body kick.
Lamb has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lamb throws a looping overhand right but Lannister ducks down to avoid it.

Lannister has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lamb!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lannister breaks from Lamb's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Lannister has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lannister is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lamb to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lamb shrugs it off.
Lannister landing strikes from the mount and Lamb is in trouble!
Lannister won't let Lamb get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
We've been hearing good reports from Lannister's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Lannister lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lannister looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
