Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renan Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo comes into the arena with Fireball - Pitbull blaring out of the sound system. Jack Cain will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain cracks Melo with an open hand slap.
Cain darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cain slips under a jab from Melo.
Cain looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cain is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Melo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A little jabbing left from Cain on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Cain connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Melo momentarily.

Melo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cain on his heels. He'll look to pass Cain's guard now, I'm sure.
Melo wants to control from the top but Cain keeps moving.
Cain can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Melo controls the pace.
Melo trying to control but Cain is working from the bottom.
Melo pushes down on Cain's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Melo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cain is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
