Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Heath darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
MCconnor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Heath has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heath lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Heath lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Heath lands a right hand that snaps the head of MCconnor backwards.
Heath lands with a right to the head.
A short uppercut from Heath.
Heath presses MCconnor against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Heath has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Heath swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heath misses with a hook from the clinch.
Heath throws an elbow but it misses.
MCconnor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
MCconnor wants to get back to striking at distance but Heath won't allow it.
A body shot lands from Heath.

Heath lands a right hand that snaps the head of MCconnor backwards.
MCconnor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A right hook to the body lands for Heath.
Heath lands a body punch.
Heath throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Heath pushes MCconnor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Heath lands with a light punch inside.
Heath throws a knee to the head but misses.
Heath lands with a right to the head.
Heath lands a left hand that snaps the head of MCconnor backwards.
Heath is pushing MCconnor up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Heath stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Heath lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

MCconnor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MCconnor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
MCconnor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Heath in his tracks.
MCconnor tries to clinch up.
Gregor MCconnor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Heath blocks a jab.
Heath is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Heath on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by MCconnor. MCconnor obviously looking to wear him down.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
MCconnor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

MCconnor pulls out of a head kick attempt.

MCconnor stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Heath.
Good exchange - Heath coming out on top.
MCconnor takes one on the chin but seems OK.
MCconnor tries to clinch up but Heath circles away and keeps his distance.
MCconnor takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

MCconnor is rocked!
MCconnor tries to clinch there but Heath circles away.
Heath cracks MCconnor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
MCconnor is still on wobbly legs! Can Heath finish him?
Heath swings for the body but MCconnor moves out of range.
MCconnor seems to have recovered his senses.
Gregor MCconnor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MCconnor wants to clinch up but Heath keeps it at a distance.
MCconnor throws a sloppy head kick and Heath moves out of range easily.
MCconnor lands a nice shot to the body.
MCconnor wants to clinch.
Nice uppercut lands for Heath. That snapped MCconnor's head back.

It looks like Gregor MCconnor has been cut.
Heath bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps MCconnor's head backwards.
Heath comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
MCconnor walks into a straight right hand from Heath.
MCconnor tries to clinch there but Heath circles away.

Heath lands a big right hand that sends MCconnor crashing to the mat! Heath stays standing though and waves MCconnor back to his feet!
MCconnor ducks into an uppercut from Heath and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
