Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Dario Dumic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kent Roger!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumic dives in and grabs Roger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roger pushes down on Dumic's head and hops out.
Roger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for Roger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kent Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roger lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dumic at a distance.
Roger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Roger lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dumic's sensitive parts.
Roger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dumic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dumic tries to improve position but can't.
Roger is working to tighten his grip on Dumic's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dumic has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Roger is really squeezing tight and eventually Dumic passes out! Roger breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kent Roger!
A relieved looking Kent Roger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
