The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith slips under a jab.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith looks for a takedown but Blundell sprawls well.
Blundell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blundell wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Blundell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Blundell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blundell finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blundell as he avoids it easily.

Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blundell was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

Blundell connects with a nice looking jab.
Blundell lands with a shot to the body.
BOOM! Blundell lands a beautiful left hook that drops Smith. Smith tries to recover but Blundell is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Smith lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Ryan Blundell started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
