Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cid Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strife comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Anciients - Raise the Sun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black dips to his left and cracks Strife with an uppercut!
We've been told by Black's head coaches at Warrior Dogs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Strife lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Strife wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Strife throws a hook but Black blocks it.

Strife looks to land a combination but Black avoids it well.
Strife tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Black pivots, looking for a leg kick but Strife is out of range and Black settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cid Strife dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The crowd cheers as Strife lands an impressive looking overhand right. Black doesn't seem phased though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strife has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Strife pushes Black against the cage. Strife is working some dirty boxing. Strife pushes off with a quick right hook! Black goes down! Black tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Strife moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A relieved looking Cid Strife thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
