The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBanner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Knight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
LeBanner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
LeBanner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Knight has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
LeBanner throws a sloppy head kick
so Knight counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Knight stands and throws LeBanner's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight has hold of LeBanner's arm. He's looking for a kimura. LeBanner seems comfortable defending it but Knight has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! LeBanner is real pain and he's forced to tap out! LeBanner is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Knight couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Irving Knight!
