Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaimaa Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berry Fulcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatu's entrance music is So Close Now. A fine choice. Vaimaa Fatu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Berry Fulcher!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulcher paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Vaimaa Fatu has been cut.
Fatu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fulcher momentarily.
Fulcher loads up on a big right hand but Fatu slips the punch.
Fulcher wants to clinch up but Fatu keeps it at a distance.
Fulcher drops his hands momentarily and Fatu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fulcher throws a jab but it's blocked by Fatu.
A swing and a miss from Fatu.
Fulcher tries to close the distance and clinch but Fatu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fatu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fulcher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fatu gets a takedown into half guard.
Fatu sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fulcher defending well though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fatu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fulcher is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fatu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fatu's back!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fatu tries to escape but Fulcher has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Fulcher. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Fulcher gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Fulcher is landing with strikes. Fatu can't take much more of this.
Fulcher has Fatu flattened out and is raining down punches.
Vaimaa Fatu's cut is getting worse.
Fatu covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Fulcher scores with strikes from the back.
Vaimaa Fatu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fulcher lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Fulcher lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Fatu hold on?!
Jeez, Vaimaa Fatu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vaimaa Fatu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Berry Fulcher!
