Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Longhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Heed's choice of entrance music: Gentlelman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 18 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mongolia Heed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longhall misses the shot to the body.
Longhall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Heed.

Longhall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Heed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Longhall trying to control but Heed is working from the bottom.
Heed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Longhall is one step ahead there.
Heed pulls Longhall in close to his closed guard and prevents Longhall from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Heed is on top in guard.

Heed seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Heed tries to free his leg and advance position but Longhall is retaining full guard.
Longhall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Heed is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Longhall utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Longhall being controlled here, momentarily.
Heed must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Heed throws an elbow that misses. Longhall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Heed's guard. Nice move by Longhall!

Heed manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Longhall manages to get himself to full guard.

Heed seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heed lands a couple of digs.
Heed passes Longhall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Heed not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Longhall is trying to control but can't.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Heed in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Longhall works the jab nicely.
Longhall connects with an inside leg kick.
Jake Longhall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Longhall wants to clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Heed circles away from the clinch attempt.

Heed looking to score a takedown here. Longhall is defending well but Heed drives through and ends up in Longhall's guard.

That's time! Longhall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Longhall looks to land a combination but Heed avoids it well.

Heed shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Heed showed some decent athleticism there.
Heed missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Heed working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Heed throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Longhall because Heed loaded up on that one.
Heed landing strikes from the mount and Longhall is in trouble!
Heed lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Longhall takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Heed raining down hammerfists from mount.


Longhall is rocked!
Heed postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Longhall bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Heed and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mongolia Heed!
Mongolia Heed took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
