Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie Hinch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Horizon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horizon keeps the fight on the outside.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Horizon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Horizon swats away the attempt to clinch by Hinch.
Evan Horizon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hinch takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Horizon lands with a straight right. Hinch didn't see that one coming.


It looks like Stevie Hinch has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Horizon there.
Horizon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Horizon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hinch blocks a low kick nicely.
Hinch tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Horizon defends well and Hinch ends up having to push Horizon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hinch is looking to take this one to the mat.
Horizon lands a hook that snaps the head of Hinch backwards.
Horizon is pressed up against the cage. Hinch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Horizon down to the mat. Horizon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevie Hinch. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Horizon lands a big right hand that sends Hinch crashing to the mat! Horizon stays standing though and waves Hinch back to his feet!


Hinch is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hinch stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Horizon.
Oh Hinch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Horizon bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
BAM! Horizon delivers a spinning backfist that drops Hinch like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Evan Horizon!
Evan Horizon decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
