Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Crosher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor McGready!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGready scores with the left hand. Crosher knows he should have avoided that one.
Crosher throws a body punch but McGready moves out of range.
Crosher throws the kick towards the body but McGready avoids it.
Crosher slips a straight right by McGready.
McGready misses with a left hand
and Crosher counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McGready cracks a nice hook into Crosher's ribs.
Crosher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGready was well out of range. Poor timing from Crosher.
McGready sends Crosher crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McGready is motioning to the referee to let Crosher up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Crosher is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crosher avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Oh Crosher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGready sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Crosher's defenses. It connects perfectly with Crosher's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Connor McGready!
Connor McGready really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Soul Supremacy Fight Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
