The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sassano Jnr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teddington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sassano Jnr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teddington postures up in Sassano Jnr's guard and throws a big left but Sassano Jnr blocks it.

Teddington stops Sassano Jnr from standing up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sassano Jnr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sassano Jnr lands a left and a right that send Teddington crashing to the mat, dazed. Sassano Jnr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tony Sassano Jnr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
