Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben James!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James stuffs the takedown attempt from Peterson. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck for Peterson with that takedown attempt.
Peterson shoots in for a double leg but James sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Peterson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Peterson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Peterson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peterson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
