Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Waldemar Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Grim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silvia darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Grim looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Grim avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silvia.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silvia throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Silvia is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Silvia lands strikes from half guard.
Silvia frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Silvia landing strikes from the mount and Grim is in trouble!
Grim in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Silvia lands a big elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silvia forces the positional change into back control.
What can Grim do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Silvia scores with punches and elbows.
Grim covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Silvia is working the ground and pound. Can Grim escape?

Silvia is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Grim has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Silvia has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Grim taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Silvia doesn't care though - he's delighted!
