Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Torello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Idea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Idea's choice of entrance music: Boss of All Bosses . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bad Idea!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torello throws a jab but it's blocked by Idea.
Torello scores with a jab. Idea acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Idea rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Torello counters with a shoot takedown. Idea fights it but they end up in guard.
Torello wants to control from the top but Idea keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've been hearing good reports from Torello's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bad Idea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Torello has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Idea is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Torello.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Torello throws a hook but Idea avoids it easily.
Idea fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Idea throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Torello pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Idea back to the cage. Torello follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Idea lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Torello has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Torello and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Torello isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Idea stacks Torello on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Idea!

Idea looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Torello with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bad Idea comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Idea has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
