The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawashima moves forwards but Jatlier connects with a nice, crisp jab.

As Jatlier backs off Kawashima throws a huge counter combo but Jatlier manages to avoid it all.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kawashima closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jatlier! Kawashima dives in looking to finish! Jatlier is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Eiji Kawashima seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Indica Jatlier spoke after the fight, saying 'Oh well, that was a pretty crappy performance.... I will have to do better next time. Well done, congrats.'.
