Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maibals Itchie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itchie comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot-Psychosocial. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Itchie closes the distance and clinches up with Ribeiro, looking for a takedown. Itchie pushes Ribeiro against the cage but Ribeiro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Itchie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Itchie showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribeiro wants to get back to his feet.

Itchie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Itchie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ribeiro is trying to stand up.

Itchie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Ribeiro tries to buck Itchie off but he can't manage it.

Ribeiro defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Itchie.
Ribeiro wants to try and get back to his feet.
Ribeiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Itchie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ribeiro wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Itchie.
Ribeiro is trying to stand up.
Itchie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Itchie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
