Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Vito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rafael Vito!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vito moves into range and clinches up with Robertson.
Robertson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vito just stands there and leans against the cage.

Robertson has Vito pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vito manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Robertson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vito doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Robertson.
Robertson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Robertson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vito is just riding it out for now. Robertson eventually gives up the hold.

Vito creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Robertson wants to take the fight to the mat but Vito manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Robertson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vito smiles and moves away.
Robertson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vito defends well and Robertson ends up having to push Vito into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Vito just misses with a elbow thrown towards Robertson's brow.

Robertson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Vito wants to control from the top but Robertson keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Robertson is on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robertson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vito can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Robertson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Vito is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Vito flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Robertson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Vito and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Robertson slips an arm under Vito chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Robertson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Robertson is squeezing on Vito like an anaconda would it's prey. Vito fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Donovan Robertson!
A relieved looking Donovan Robertson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
