The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Yvon as he connects with a hook.
Klemen throws a right and a left that Yvon avoids nicely.
Yvon scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Marcelo Klemen has been cut.

Yvon bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Klemen! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Klemen is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yvon stands up over Klemen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Klemen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yvon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Klemen is on top in guard.

Klemen seems to have got his legs back now.

Klemen is looking to work some ground and pound but Yvon has wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yvon misses with a lunging right hand
and Klemen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slow jab from Klemen misses its intended target.

Yvon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Klemen blocks a head kick by Yvon.
Yvon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yvon walks into a stiff left hand from Klemen.

Klemen works over Yvon's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Mathias Yvon has been cut.
Yvon moves out of range of the strikes.
Yvon slips a jab and a cross from Klemen.
Klemen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yvon circles away quickly and effectively.
Yvon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Klemen throws out the jab.

Yvon moves forwards but Klemen connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Oooooh!!! Klemen has knocked Yvon down with a huge combo! Klemen steps away and waves a wobbly Yvon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klemen misses with a series of wild punches.
Klemen slips under a jab from Yvon.
Yvon throws a body kick that misses.

Yvon throws a sloppy head kick and Klemen moves out of range easily.
Yvon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Klemen scores with a decent looking hook.
Klemen just misses with a punch to the body.

Klemen lands a left and a right that send Yvon crashing to the mat, dazed. Klemen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Klemen cracks Yvon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Klemen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Yvon to stand back up!
