The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws an overhand right that lands on Tatum's shoulder, as Tatum tries to avoid the shot.
Tatum slips a jab and a cross from Torres.

and Tatum counters with a three punch combo that has Torres backing up. Torres nods at Tatum to acknowledge the strikes.

Torres scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Tatum to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

It looks like Mr Tatum has been cut.
Torres has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tatum finds it's way round the side to connect with Torres's head.
