The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Knuckles.
Shekau ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knuckles moves away.
Shekau lands the left hand.
Knuckles delivers a nice body kick.
Shekau bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knuckles's head.
Shekau misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knuckles.
Shekau on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shekau takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Shekau misses with a hook.
Shekau fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knuckles manages to avoid it.

Knuckles connects with a leg kick. Shekau looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Knuckles lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Abubakar Shekau has been cut.
Abubakar Shekau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Knuckles - that will leave a mark!
Shekau looks winded!
Knuckles plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Knuckles fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shekau has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shekau missing with a left hand there. Knuckles was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Shekau drops his hands momentarily and Knuckles needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Shekau just on the top of the head. Shekau drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Shekau - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paddy Knuckles!
