Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe Pae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lord working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The crowd cheers as Lord lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pae doesn't seem phased though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pae throws a lazy right hand but Lord sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pae lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lord has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lord and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
