The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chestnar shoots in and gets a takedown into Twitch's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Twitch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Twitch wants to sweep but no luck.
Chestnar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Chestnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Twitch is trying to control the position but Chestnar postures up.
Twitch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chestnar is one step ahead there.
Chestnar with a nice head shot there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Twitch keeping moving, preventing Chestnar from controlling successfully.
Chestnar pushes down on Twitch's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chestnar lands strikes from half guard.

It looks like Harley Twitch has been cut.
Still in half guard, Chestnar seems content to control.
Twitch is in trouble now - Chestnar has advanced to mount!
Chestnar with shots to the head and body - Twitch looks very uncomfortable down there.
Chestnar trying to control but Twitch is having none of it.
Chestnar is landing with some decent strikes but Twitch is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up Harley Twitch's cut even more.

Twitch is in a horrible position here. Chestnar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Harley Twitch's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Harley Twitch's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Cok Chestnar!
After the fight, Cok Chestnar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
