The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cygan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fischer to the ground. Cygan is now in Fischer's guard.
Cygan advances to half guard.

Fischer throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fischer is trying to get back to full guard.
Cygan works his foot free and advances to mount.
Fischer is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fischer is bucking up trying to escape but Cygan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fischer is squirming around, avoiding Cygan's attempts to control the action.
Cygan prevents Fischer from getting the reversal.

Fischer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fischer tries to lock up and control but Cygan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fischer is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Cygan jumps into side control!

Cygan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fischer has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cygan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
