The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suen stuffs the takedown.

Morrow has Suen up against the cage in a clinch.

Morrow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Morrow counters with a three punch combo that has Suen backing up. Suen nods at Morrow to acknowledge the strikes.

Morrow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Morrow shoots for a takedown but Suen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Morrow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters circling a little - Morrow finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Suen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Morrow counters with a good, hard body kick but Suen shrugs it off.

Morrow is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Suen's half guard.
Still in half guard, Morrow seems content to control.

Suen wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
