The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Man tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Man manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones misses with a takedown
and Man counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Man fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jones takes a jab right on the kisser.
Man keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clyde Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones tries to move into range but Man moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Man lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Man manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
