Munchack is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tupac - Ambitionz Az A Ridah. Franklin Munchack acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A nice leg kick lands there from Munchack.
Li fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Munchack tried to score with a low kick but Li checks it.
Munchack feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Li's calf.
Munchack buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Li tries to break the clinch but Munchack is controlling the position.

Munchack jumps guard but Li stands there with Munchack around his waist. Munchack gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Li has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Li decides to stand back up. Li steps back and let's Munchack get back to his feet.

Franklin Munchack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Munchack tries to close the distance and clinch but Li swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Li crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Munchack - the referee stops the clock and Li gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Munchack. Li manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Munchack jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Li walks away with a smile on his face. Munchack gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Munchack does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Li enables Munchack to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Li manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Munchack connects with a nice short shot to Li's temple.
