Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boof Bitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitzer comes to the cage accompanied by Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris parody by Hungarians). Boof Bitzer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boof Bitzer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Scott!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bitzer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bitzer shoots for a takedown but Scott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Scott scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Scott drops Bitzer with a beautiful combination! Bitzer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Scott is looking for the KO!


It looks like Boof Bitzer has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Scott moves into the clinch.
Scott lands a left hand.

Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bitzer throws a wild body kick that Scott sees coming a mile off.
Bitzer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bitzer has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boof Bitzer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Scott, as that shot connected.
Bitzer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scott as he avoids it easily.
Scott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bitzer slips a jab and a cross from Scott.
Bitzer tries to close the distance and clinch but Scott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bitzer gets tackled into the cage by Scott. Scott maintains the clinch.
Bitzer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Scott just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bitzer looking for a takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Scott presses Bitzer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bitzer is breathing heavily.
Bitzer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Scott is pressed up against the cage. Bitzer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scott down to the mat. Scott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bitzer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A clash of legs there as Bitzer blocks the low kick.
Bitzer looks to clinch

and Scott counters by clinching up.

Scott breaks from the clinch.
Scott lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Scott.

Scott feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bitzer sprawling to the canvas! Bitzer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scott finish him?!


Bitzer is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Scott has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Bitzer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Scott breaks the clinch.
Scott cracks a nice hook into Bitzer's ribs.
Scott lands a nice hook to Bitzer's body. Bitzer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Scott wobbles Bitzer with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Scott dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Bitzer to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bobby Scott!
An intense looking Bobby Scott took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'If a man don't drink, don't smoke or don't gamble; that ain't a man I can trust. So if I can't trust ya, there ain't nothing left to do except smash your face...and that's just what happened tonight.'.
Boof Bitzer spoke after the fight, saying 'yah can't win 'em all'.
